Universal Code of Conduct Training - Module A: Orientation (UCoC - General)

WikimediaFoundation

About This Course

The Wikimedia community shares a powerful vision, a world where every single human being can freely share in the sum of all knowledge. Realizing that vision depends on something equally important: making sure everyone who participates feels safe, respected, and genuinely welcome.

This self-paced course will help you gain a clear and friendly introduction to the UCoC, what it is, why it exists, and how it shapes the way we work and interact across all Wikimedia projects and spaces, both online and offline.

Requirements

No prior knowledge or experience is required. Whether you're new to Wikimedia or a long-time contributor, this course is designed to be accessible and welcoming to all.

Course Staff

This course was developed and is maintained by the Universal Code of Conduct Coordinating Committee (U4C), with support from the Wikimedia Foundation. For questions or feedback, please reach out to us at [email@placeholder.com].
