This short course is aimed to provide an introduction to online harassment and support our volunteers to build empathetic practices to respond to on-wiki harassment.
The course aims to be most useful for people who are interested in identifying and addressing harassment in a way that support those targeted by online harassment by practicing empathy. This includes administrators, functionaries and volunteers with advanced user rights.
I manage the Wikimedia Foundations' Community Development team. My main priorities focus on team management and supporting the team to ensure we are creating learning and development resources to help volunteers grow critical capacities across the movement
